The Machine
The Buddy is a powerful CNC Router with a moving-table work area. It is engineered to combine optimum use of space with the same professional performance as ShopBot’s larger machines with industrial accuracy and speed
The Buddy comes in two standard sizes with a work area of either 24”x 32” or 24”x 48” making the machine extremely compact. With a weight of only 600lbs and with optional caster wheels the Buddy is also easy to move around a shop.
The BuddyPowerStick attachment allows you to expand the normal 24” axis of a Buddy up to 144” (12 feet) making it configurable for a large number of projects.
Ease of Use

Software & Design
All Buddys come with PartWorks, our powerful, easy to use design and machining software. Also included is a disk of ready-to-carve projects and tutorial videos.
